Dear Mathew,
I reside from Kitale Kenya Africa. We are running a nonprofit school that seeks to provide quality education for both orphaned and needy children in rural area of Sikhendu ward, Kiminini Subcounty in Trans-Nzoia County. The school is registered by the government through the ministry of education.
Most of the inhabitants of this place are not the natives of Mucharage village but rather the squatters who ran from Mt. Elgon and sought refugee here after the tribe wars of 1992 and post election skirmishes of 2007/2008. As a result, the rate of poverty prevalence is high leaving them vulnerable and exposing these children to vices and social crimes such as robbery, prostitution, child labour, early marriage, drug abuse among others for their survival. The community also lacks proper medical facilities and Medica cover/insurance for the residents as a result of poverty.
As a result, we exist to provide hope to the future community by equipping them with quality education. In light of these challenges, our board of Directors has reached a decision to seek like minded partners to empower this noble initiative as we seek strategies for long term sustainability.
We hereby wish to request for your empowerment as far as child sponsorship program/ teacher’s salaries is concerned, feeding program, school and community medical care as well as establishing physical facilities classrooms). Currently, the school operates in makeshift structures.
We also envision opening another school to rescue the girls from female genital mutilation among the Kuria community as well as vocational training for the young women whose education has been neglected for them to be married off as a result of their traditions.
We work closely with AfricaHope Church since we are a Christian based school.
Regards,
Paul Barasa-Director Africa Hope Academy Mucharage.
Good morning, I am Giada Saffirio, an italian dōTERRA wellness advocate. I have met Mathias in Puglia at the Leadership retreat. I spoke with him about the donations that my friends did for my 50th birthday. I would like to know how much money I raised please. My birthday it’s been in July 2022. Mathias told me to send him an emai as a reminder. Thank you very much,
